Sentencing Commission Holds Public Hearing on Fentanyl & Synthetic Cannabinoids

Today, the United States Sentencing Commission held a public hearing on fentanyl, fentanyl analogues, and synthetic cannabinoids in Washington, D.C.  The Commission heard testimony from state and federal law enforcment, chemists, pharmacologists, emergency room physicians, medical examiners, and others about the community impact, health consequences, and structural chemistry and pharmacology of fentayl, fentanyl annolgues, and synthetic cannabinoids.  The hearing agenda and witness statements are available here.
