Joint Electronic Technology Working Group

The Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) and the Attorney General of the United States created the Department of Justice/Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts Joint Working Group on Electronic Technology (JETWG) in the Criminal Justice System in 1998.  JETWG is charged with addressing best practices for the efficient and cost-effective management of post-indictment e-discovery between the Government and defendants charged in federal criminal cases. JETWG and its various subcommittees have published several documents for use in federal criminal cases.
