Federal District Courts continue to grant compassionate release, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3582(c)(1)(A), as amended by Section 603(b) of the First Step Act, finding "extraordinary and compelling reasons" exist in that the global COVID-19 pandemic poses an increased health risk to particular defendants.
