Virtual Training Event Description
This presentation will describe changes to the Sentencing Guidelines that take effect on November 1, 2026, including a new approach to multiple count guideline calculations, a new avenue to challenge fentanyl analogue calculations, and an adverse drone-related amendment. By the end of the presentation, you will have an understanding of the 2026 amendments and their impact on your practice.

Christina “TINA” Woehr is a Texas-born and Tucson-based attorney with the National Sentencing Resource Counsel Project. Before joining SRC, Tina was an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the District of Arizona and the Southern District of Texas. Prior to that she was an associate with the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Tina received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Max Wolson has been a National Sentencing Resource Counsel since 2023. His prior experience includes work as a Staff Attorney with the National Immigration Law Center, where he worked on impact litigation on behalf of immigrant communities, and as a Staff Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the United States Sentencing Commission. Before that, he served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender and an Assistant Federal Public Defender in Iowa, representing clients at both the trial and appellate levels.

We did not apply for CLE for this program. However, attendees will be provided a Certificate of Attendance for their records within 15-30 days of the broadcast, which may be used to self-apply for CLE, depending on the bar rules for your jurisdiction.
