In-Person Training Event Description
Please save the date for the Federal Defender Investigators and Paralegal Seminar on Aug. 4-6, 2026, with the location still to be determined.
This two-and-a-half-day seminar will cover a wide range of topics specifically targeted for Federal Defender trial investigators, paralegals, mitigation specialists, social workers, and interpreters who contribute to the defense of federal criminal cases. A mix of plenary and concurrent breakout sessions will address areas such as online investigation, BOP issues, sentencing mitigation, mental health, discovery management and analysis, and offense-specific tips for building a powerful defense.
This seminar is designed for and attendance is limited to Federal Defender staff who work in trial units.
