To subscribe to FD.org feeds, you must have an RSS aggregator. Users currently using Microsoft Outlook (classic) have a built in RSS aggregator in their email box. Users who do not have MS Outlook (classic) are encouraged to identify an RSS aggregator. Suggested RSS feed readers include: Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader and RSS Feed Viewer.
To subscribe to our feeds using Microsoft Outlook (classic):
- Copy the feed link you would like to subscribe to:
a. DSOTD News & Legal Announcements https://www.fd.org/news/feed.xml
b. DSOTD Training Events https://www.fd.org/training-events/feed.xml
c. FD.org Employment Vacancies https://www.fd.org/employment/feed.xml - Locate the “RSS Subscription” folder on the left side of your MS Outlook email window.
- Right click on RSS Subscriptions
- Click on “Add a New RSS Feed”
- A new RSS Feed window will open in the middle of your screen. Paste the feed link you copied in Step 1.
- Click the “Add” button. You may get a window indicating that MS Office has identified a potential security concern. Click yes to continue.
- The RSS feed will appear dating back for a short period of time.
