On October 25, 2017, the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University issued a press release announcing its on-line publication of a four-volume report titled Reforming Criminal Justice.  Drawing on the contributions of 120 of the nation’s foremost academics to discuss specific topics within the criminal justice reform movement, the report hopes to bridge the gap between scholarship and legal reform.  The report is broken up into the following four volumes:

  • Volume 1: Introduction and Criminalization, here.
  • Volume 2: Policing, here.
  • Volume 3: Pretrial and Trial Processes, here.
  • Volume 4: Punishment, Incarceration, and Release, here.

A 15-page summary of all the chapters in the report is available here, and the full report is available here.  The Training Division provides a wide variety of training and resource materials to attorneys appointed under the Criminal Justice Act at fd.org
