District Attorney sends letter to police chief stating in light of one of your officer's misconduct, he lack credibility and my office would "be unwilling to prosecute cases in which [the] Officer has involvement in the future." Cop is fired and sues: do police officers have a right to due process or a hearing before a prosecutor decides to stop calling them as witnesses in light of multiple alleged false statements? First Circuit: We're pretty sure the prosecutor gets to make that call independently. No claim here.

The case is Richard Roe v. Marianne Lynch, 20-1702 (1st Cir. May 12, 2021).
