Eighth Circuit Affirms Acquittal: Soliciting Minor in Car Doesn’t Invoke Interstate Commerce

Sure, soliciting a minor for sex is criminal—but it does not, the Eighth Circuit holds, affect interstate commerce just because you made your gross solicitation while sitting in a car that was manufactured out of state. The district court’s judgment of acquittal affirmed.
