In-Person Training Event Description
Join the Training Division in Atlanta for the 2026 Paralegal and Investigators Skills Workshop (PISW), November 5-7, 2026!. Through a blend of plenary sessions and intensive small group workshops, attendees learn to develop on three core tenets of defense:
- Client-Centered Advocacy
- Culture of Initiative
- The Power of the Team
Every exercise builds on the last. Each small group is paired with faculty of accomplished federal defense investigators and paralegals.
This workshop is built around an evolving model case that tracks the development of a federal case. Because PISW is built on progressive learning and collaborative small group work, participants are expected to attend the program in its entirety. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Not a CLE event
We did not apply for CLE for this program. However, attendees will be provided a Certificate of Attendance for their records within 15-30 days of the broadcast, which may be used to self-apply for CLE, depending on the bar rules for your jurisdiction.
